Job Title: Software Engineer/Architect at Torch Technologies
Torch Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer/Architect to serve as the Software Architect for the Endurance Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Product Office (PdM EUAS). The role involves developing EUAS architectures to support current and future battlefield capabilities, including Joint All Domain Operations (JADO). Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of the software architecture for the EUAS software product baseline. Provide oversight of software development, integration, testing, and certification activities. Develop and maintain EUAS architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with UAS Family of Systems (FoS) and enterprise architectures. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including other PEO AVN Project Offices, labs, and industry partners. Establish architecture control policies, guidance, and SOPs, and evaluate deviations. Lead functional teams with expertise in RF, Data Links, networking, C2, interoperability, geospatial, and spectrum. Assess technical solutions, develop architecture descriptions, and support acquisition strategies. Support interoperability profiles, software activities, and technical reviews. Lead cross-product efforts in UAS architectures, modeling, C4I, interoperability, and cybersecurity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 10 years of experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with FACE, UCS, OMS, MOSA, SOSA, UML/SysML, UPDM, and software safety standards (DO-178, AMCOM 385-17). Secret Security Clearance required; Top Secret preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
