Primary Skills: Java (Expert), Kotlin (Expert), Android SDK (Advanced), Git (Intermediate), RESTful APIs (Intermediate) Contract Type : W2 Location : San Jose, CA (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week) Duration: 4-6 Months contract with possible extension #WBW #LP We are seeking a motivated Android Developer eager to re-enter the tech scene after a career hiatus and ready to apply their strong expertise in Java and Kotlin to design, develop, and maintain innovative Android applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications in Java and/or Kotlin. Work closely with design and product teams to implement desired features. Debug and optimize applications for peak performance. Engage in code reviews, promoting clean architecture and adherence to best practices. Leverage Android Studio and SDKs to bring creative concepts to life. Must-have skills 5+ years of professional experience in Android development. Java and/or Kotlin proficiency. Experience with Android Studio and SDKs. Strong understanding of mobile design principles and guidelines.
