Cultivate a culture of rapid experimentation and continuous improvement to enhance our platform's efficiency. About the Team: The Pricing & Promotions Science organization leverages extensive multi-modal data across billions of Amazon and competitor products to develop generative AI and machine learning systems. We ensure the delivery of accurate, competitive, and customer-relevant pricing and promotions while maintaining long-term trust and satisfaction. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of proficiency in at least one programming language. 5+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems. Leadership experience as a mentor or tech lead. 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages. 3+ years in distributed system architecture and technical engineering leadership. 3+ years of experience with AWS technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neural networks, machine learning, and Generative AI. Experience developing software for scientists and ML engineers. Experience with SQL and data access technologies like Redshift or Spark. Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow. Bachelor's Degree.
