Job Summary: The State of Maine is implementing a new enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) to centralize training and education for internal staff and external partners. MaineIT seeks a Systems Analyst to document and create content for internal processes within the LMS and support broader implementation efforts. The selected candidate will also contribute to other projects as needed, ensuring optimal use of technology systems and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing processes, systems, and functionality to identify areas for improvement. Create documentation and content to support LMS implementation and internal process understanding. Manage and maintain LMS components, including user accounts, content updates, and system configuration. Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption and training. Participate in additional MaineIT projects as required. Write and revise standards, procedures, and system documentation. Communicate system capabilities and limitations effectively to varied audiences. Support end-user training and change management initiatives. Assist with test plan development, execution, and quality assurance. Write queries and conduct data analysis to support project goals. Gather detailed business requirements using techniques like user story writing, impact mapping, and story mapping. Required Experience:
5+ years of relevant industry experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business analytics/communications. Strong organizational change management and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency across the software development life cycle and project development processes. Clear and effective communication skills-both written and oral. Experience with writing and executing test plans. Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and refine complex business requirements. Familiarity with data analysis and writing queries.
