We are seeking a dynamic and strategic
Learning and Development Consultant
to join our Chicago Field Office. This role serves as a trusted advisor and partner to leadership, business partners, Owner/Operators, and key stakeholders. The consultant will facilitate best-in-class learning and development programs for diverse learners, including staff, Owner/Operators, restaurant management, and other key roles. As the subject matter expert (SME) in training, learning, and development, you will drive behavioral change that improves business results. Purpose Change individuals' behavior to improve business results by consulting in training, operational standards, and facilitating field training classes. Duties
Principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Conducts training that motivates, builds proficiencies, and improves individual performance and contribution to restaurant results. Consulting Demonstrates and reinforces leadership behaviors supporting McDonald's vision. Helps identify appropriate resources and interventions to meet customer requests effectively. Provides strategic interventions to help markets achieve objectives. Coaches on measuring and improving training results, diagnosing problems, and creating solutions. Communicates and provides feedback to Field Staff and Owner/Operators regarding people development opportunities. Creates partnerships with Owner/Operators, Operations Managers, Consultants, Restaurant Managers, and learners to transfer training, maximize ROI, and improve restaurant results. Serves as an operations specialist on McDonald's standards, management tools, and training systems to maximize QSC&V. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Reside in Chicago, Indianapolis, or Michigan. Willing to travel within Illinois, Indianapolis, Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin (75-100%). Bilingual in Spanish and English. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-4+ years in adult education or facilitation. 2+ years in customer service or hospitality. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS). Experience in QSR, restaurant operations, or hospitality. Consulting experience is advantageous. Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment. Strong work ethic, business acumen, and self-starter attitude. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $75,700.00 - $94,620.00 per year. This range considers experience and other factors. The role is also car eligible.
