System Administrator Level 3
Country Intelligence Group is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer Level 3 to support our client at Fort Meade, MD, providing critical systems administration and engineering support for large-scale mission systems. The selected candidate will contribute to the design, configuration, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure and containerized environments. This position requires hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration, container orchestration, clustered storage solutions, and Tier 3 troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and a working understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) in secure environments. Tasks Performed: Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware. Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration. Education, Experience and Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma/GED with at least 20 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in communication engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or computer engineering with 15 years of relevant experience. Experience administering large software deployments on Linux/Unix systems. Experience implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining IT systems. Experience providing Tier 3 (End of Line) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution. Experience with Container Technology, administering clustered storage solutions, Kubernetes orchestrated containers. Experience with system configuration management software and change control. Experience with Linux / Unix command-line. Experience with Docker. Experience with Kubernetes. Experience with Ceph. Experience with Ansible, Puppet. Other Job Requirements: Minimum Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph. U.S. Citizenship, and successful background check. Location: Fort Meade, MD.
