Outpatient Psychiatrist, Community Health Center, Flexible Schedule
A non-profit network of community-based Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) offering comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, pediatrics, chiropractic, and specialty healthcare services is seeking an outpatient psychiatrist The psychiatrist will join two psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, a registered nurse, medical assistant and three Licensed social workers providing outpatient behavioral healthcare to mostly adult patients. The Psychiatrist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patient with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Conducts thorough evaluations, develops treatment plans, prescribes medications, and evaluates treatment results. Provides patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage their disorders. Supervises and directs nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other providers. Monday through Friday schedule. No call, No Nights and No weekends.
