Truck Driver - Local Routes
Our company is seeking an experienced truck driver to operate on local routes, transporting cargo between various destinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of logistics and be able to efficiently manage time, resources, and physical demands. Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading cargo from trailers Operating a forklift as needed to facilitate the movement of goods Exercising independent judgment to optimize trailer usage, ensuring compliance with weight distribution laws Completing routine paperwork accurately and logging loading sheets correctly Performing tasks such as check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor setup, and cargo pickup/delivery Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less experience may be eligible for training) Certifications: Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, and no automatic restriction Additional Requirements: Minimum age of 21, good stable work record, safe driving record, ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, and meet DOT medical requirements
