HCA Florida Jacksonville Head & Neck Specialists is seeking a fellowship trained Head and Neck Surgeon to join our comprehensive surgical oncology program in Jacksonville, serving the North Florida and Southern Georgia market. The program, led by Dr. Russell Smith, is considered a leader in the region for head and neck surgical oncology, specially trained in diagnosing and treating complex cases. We are part of a renowned multidisciplinary team of specialists offering high-quality surgical care and advanced treatments. The newly constructed 5000 sq. ft outpatient clinic is located on the hospital campus for centralization of services and includes high-quality office endoscopy and point of care ultrasound. Dedicated teams for both operating room and inpatient service. The incoming Head and Neck Surgeon will assist in advancing a world-class comprehensive Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Program. Multidisciplinary program consisting of Head and Neck Surgeons, APPs, medical and radiation oncologists, speech language pathologists, nutrition, rehabilitation, and cancer care navigation. Head and Neck Surgical Oncology practice call coverage shared amongst providers in the group. Qualified candidates require completion of fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction. Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology
Head and Neck Surgery /American Board of Surgery. Completion of an ACGME Otolaryngology Residency / Surgery Residency. Have a current, or be able to obtain, an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions. No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction. Have current, unrestricted DEA registration.
