**Location:** Pittsburgh, PA **Shift:** 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with on-call coverage during off hours and weekends **Assignment Length:** 90 Days, 40 hours per week
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to perform imaging procedures at a technical level requiring less supervision. This role demands a skilled professional who can competently execute a variety of technical procedures, utilizing independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interventional radiology procedures with a high level of expertise. - Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety standards and protocols. - Maintain equipment in optimal working condition and troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Work collaboratively within a healthcare team to provide excellent patient care. - Document and report findings accurately and in a timely manner.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures. - Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in imaging procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
**Licenses/Clearances:**
- ACT 33, ACT 34, ACT 73
