This position requires a highly skilled technologist to work in various settings, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular interventions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures. Cath Lab Responsibilities:
Assist Interventional Cardiologists with coronary, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. Meet all requirements of the procedural job code, including knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, sterile technique, and inventory management. Arrhythmia (EP) Responsibilities:
Assist Electrophysiologists with non-invasive, invasive, and structural heart procedures. Meet all requirements of the procedural job code, including knowledge of X-ray equipment, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, sterile technique, and inventory management. Vascular Interventional (VIR) Responsibilities:
Assist Interventional Radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures. Meet all requirements of the procedural job code, including knowledge of imaging equipment, vascular anatomy, sterile technique, and inventory management. Neuro Interventional Responsibilities:
Assist Neuro Interventional Radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including mechanical stroke interventions. Meet all requirements of the procedural job code, including knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions, and sterile technique. Requirements:
Active preceptorship for new associates and students. Competency in scrubbing and circulating all neuro cases, including mechanical stroke. Full-time or part-time rostered FTE. 1-3 years' experience in hospital NIR department.
