Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1-2 years of experience and active certification for a rotating weekday assignment.
Responsibilities Position is in the nuclear medicine unit of a hospital setting4x10 hour day shifts with start times between 6:30 AM and 8:15 AM, rotating Monday through FridayOn-call coverage is required after department hours until reopeningTravelers may be asked to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital located approximately 15 minutes awayPatient care involves state-of-the-art nuclear medicine procedures utilizing gamma cameras, probes, computer systems, film processors, and survey metersCharting is done in Epic and experience with Epic is requiredResponsibilities include performing all nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policiesStrict rules apply to time off; requests must be finalized at time of consideration and changes may result in contract cancellationReturn staff policy requires a minimum of 6 months away from hospital employment before return as a travelerMandatory floating to sister hospital as neededNo mile radius restriction; local candidates are accepted at the same rateFirst-time travelers are permitted for this assignmentNon-billable modules are completed pre-start and annually, with up to 8 hours required depending on specialty
