Tandym Group A leading psychiatric facility in West Seneca, NY is currently seeking a dedicated RN for the Child & Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health unit. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic environment dedicated to supporting young people.
About The Opportunity
Setting: Inpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health Shift: 3pm-11:30pm (1 position) & 11pm-7:30am (2 positions) Schedule: 5 shifts per week, including rotating weekends Hours: Full-time Location: West Seneca, NY
Responsibilities
The
RN Child & Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health
will be responsible for:
Providing direct nursing care to children and adolescents Conducting health assessments and implementing nursing care plans Executing medical regimens prescribed by healthcare providers Supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and direct care staff Maintaining comprehensive documentation and record keeping
Qualifications
1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse Active New York State Registered Nurse license Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification Knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Desired Skills
At least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting Experience with children and adolescents in a mental health capacity Bilingual abilities are a plus
