Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred License: State radiologic technologist license preferred Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R) Must-Have: - Must have radiation badge supplied by the agency - Experience with C-Arm procedures Description: Agency must supply radiation badge. The X-Ray Technician will work three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, with holidays as needed. During the first week of the contract, the traveler may work day shifts for orientation. A set schedule will begin the following week. On-call requirements are 3-4 days per month. Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required as needed. First-time travelers are accepted, but travel experience is preferred. Experience with orthopedic and C-Arm procedures is required. The facility is a Magnet, Teaching Hospital, and Level 1 Trauma Center. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Candidates must include any requested time off at the time of submission. All candidates must comply with submission requirements. Previous staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler. Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate. Candidates with pending licenses will be considered if proof of application is provided. The position requires compliance with all facility needs during the contract period.
