Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide coverage for the Hematology transplant unit Manage patient care for bone marrow transplant, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma cases Conduct patient admissions and rounding during assigned shifts Respond to on-call duties during swing bed shifts Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic electronic health record system Assist in coordinating care plans and follow-up appointments Stay current with the latest advancements in hematology and oncology practices Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Additional Information:
Arkansas Nurse Practitioner license required Experience with Epic EHR system preferred Strong background in hematology/oncology, particularly in transplant settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills essential Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Flexibility to work various shift types, including weekends and evenings
