Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Opportunity Near Greensboro, NC We are seeking a talented Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Greensboro, NC, starting ASAP and ongoing. Position Overview: Position : Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Location : Near Greensboro, NC Dates : ASAP - Ongoing Rate Type : Daily Shift Type : Days Shift Description : Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM For Mammography: Monday through Friday preferred; will accept Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Please Note : This is not a 100% Interventional Radiology (IR) position and does not include IR call. Key Responsibilities: Light Interventional Procedures : Perform non-complex procedures such as: Image-guided biopsies Drainages PICC line placements Paracentesis and thoracentesis (fluid removal from the abdomen and chest) General Radiology : Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams, including X-rays, CTs, and MRIs. Systems Used: EMR : Meditech PACS : Intelerad VR : Fluency Submission Requirements: Board Certification : Required BLS/ACLS Certification : Required Active NC License & DEA : Verbal confirmation required at name clear Certification Requirements: ACLS BLS Board Certified DEA State License Requirements: North Carolina Additional Information: Reason for Coverage : Temporary coverage needed starting November 1st. Special Note : This position focuses on light interventional responsibilities and routine diagnostic radiology, making it ideal for radiologists who prefer a mix of these areas without full IR responsibilities.
