POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Winter Park Resort Lodging Division, which manages nearly 600 condos/hotel rooms (built between 1986 and 2009), with around 270 units in the short-term rental program. Your role will be critical in ensuring the safe and high-quality operation of our facilities all year round. This position also involves regular interaction with guests, homeowners, and internal partners, making it a pivotal customer-facing role. You will respond quickly to maintenance requests and engage in both routine and specialized maintenance tasks.
WAGE: Base hourly pay ranges from $20 to $24/hour, depending on experience and other factors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Respond to Maintenance Calls: Efficiently handle maintenance requests via various channels, demonstrating professionalism and a guest-centric approach.
- Perform Routine and Preventative Maintenance: Follow protocols for regular maintenance tasks such as hot tub operations, HVAC checks, and common area upkeep.
- Emergency Response: Act promptly to alarms and emergencies, ensuring guest safety and building integrity.
- Access Control/Security: Maintain privacy and security protocols while addressing lock/key card issues and managing access to various areas.
- Communication/Guest Service: Engage positively with guests and team members, staying informed about resort operations to provide accurate information.
