Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics:
Ensure smooth, on-time delivery processes. Secure transportation and delivery of various cargo types, focusing on hazardous materials.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations (DOT, OSHA, industry-specific standards). Enforce best practices for handling and transporting specialty chemicals. Lead efforts within the operations to maintain DOT and safety compliance.
Equipment Managements
Oversee equipment operation, ensuring proper inspections before, during, and after trips. Ensure operators meet necessary qualifications and safety standards.
License/Endorsements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements. TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card.
Experience
2 years of recent experience driving a tractor-trailer, chemical tanker, and or . Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission.
Age & Health Requirements
At least 23 years old. Must pass a DOT Physical.
Driving Record
No MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) violations in the past 3 years. No major accidents No DUI/DWI offenses
Work Schedule
70 HOUR PER WEEK OR AS CLOSE TO THAT AS POSSIBLE WITH A 34 HOUR RESTART On call based on load availabilities
Location:
Vehicles will be Day cabs. Candidates must live within 25-mile radius of Houston, TX and commute to our yard for pick-up of day cab in Houston, TX
