Altius is partnering with a well-established freight forwarder to find a licensed
Customs Broker & Import Operations Specialist
who can keep shipments moving smoothly while safeguarding compliance. What you’ll do Serve as the licensed broker of record, filing customs entries and ensuring full regulatory compliance Own the end to end import process including ISF, entry summaries, HTS classification, document review, and issue resolution Act as the key liaison among clients, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, and partner government agencies Maintain audit ready records and coach colleagues on best practice import procedures What you’ll bring Valid U.S. Customs Broker License and 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding/import clearance Deep knowledge of HTS, ACE/ABI, and U.S. import regulations Proven ability to juggle multiple shipments, troubleshoot holds and exams, and communicate clearly with clients and authorities Familiarity with platforms such as CargoWise or Descartes is highly desirable Seniority level
