Position: Senior Manager, Supply Chain
Position Summary:
T1 Energy seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead our supply chain function during a period of transformative growth. This role will be responsible for designing and building a supply chain organization, developing operational frameworks, and driving strategic initiatives. With our recent acquisition of the Wilmer, TX facility, this leader will play a crucial role in harmonizing procurement processes, optimizing costs, overseeing inventory management and logistics, and ensuring supply chain resilience across our operations. The position requires a strategic mindset balanced with strong operational capabilities to drive both immediate results and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
Establish future state processes and procedures for efficient sourcing and contracting, supplier performance management, and contract management
Provide oversight of direct and indirect materials sourcing and contract management; effectively support the demand planning, spend and cost monitoring, contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, and expediting.
Negotiate and establish agreements with key suppliers.
Implement a comprehensive supplier performance management system to monitor and evaluate supplier delivery times, quality of materials, and compliance with industry standards
Cost Optimization & Financial Management:
Drive cost reduction initiatives through spend analysis, strategic negotiation, volume consolidation, inventory management and innovative sourcing approaches.
Implement should-cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis.
Manage procurement budgets and track savings realization; develop and maintain cost reduction roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Create regular reporting on cost savings initiatives and results.
Procurement Operations & Process Excellence:
Design and implement efficient procurement operating model and organizational structure.
Determine job roles and build out the organization job to support initiatives and daily operations
Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, identifying opportunities for process automation and standardization.
Develop and monitor procurement performance metrics and KPIs.
Build and mentor high-performing procurement team.
Supply Chian and Logistics Management
Oversee the logistics and inventory management function
Identify opportunities to reduce inventory and logistics costs without introducing risk to the operation
Collaborate with stakeholders to support the overall S&OP process
Ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations
Integration & Change Management:
Lead supply chain integration with newly acquired facility operations
Develop change management strategies for new processes and systems
Create standardized procedures across all locations
Manage stakeholder communications during transition
Establish governance structure for integrated operations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree .
Purchasing certifications, .
10+ years of procurement experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles at in global manufacturing firms, solar manufacturing .
Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
Experience in inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management
Experience in working with international suppliers, particularly Asia-based suppliers.
Strong background in procurement transformation and digitalization.
Track record of delivering significant cost savings.
Demonstrated success in building and leading teams.
Fluent in English, preference for Mandarin, as well.
