Job Description
Salary: $100,000 - $170,000
Are you passionate about shaping the future of humanity's presence in space? Lunar Outpost, an industry leader in space robotics and planetary vehicles, invites you to join our team! Lunar Outpost is dedicated to creating a permanent presence in space, while also driving positive impacts here on Earth. Currently, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment.
The main responsibilities will be the creation of spaceflight hardware and robotics systems. You will work on a wide variety of complex and breakthrough projects, including the Lunar Outpost MAPP rover, which has two missions to the Moon landing in 2024, and larger class autonomous rover systems that will help to expand robotic operations both on the Moon and on Earth.
Job Responsibilities
PCB and circuit design Development of electrical hardware and systems Circuit card manufacturing and assemblies Hardware testing and qualification Implement EMI/EMC considerations Radiation and environmental tolerancing Implement upset and risk mitigation strategies Work closely with RF/Hardware, software engineers for design and validation Technical writing and documentation of firmware products Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry Exceptional problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to navigate multiple complex challenges in a dynamic startup environment Must be a U.S Person Skills and Experience
Experience with high-speed data links, Ethernet, PCI-E, etc. Experience with networking protocols Experience with signal transformation and processing Experience developing fault-tolerant systems Lunar Outpost is an equal opportunity employer.
