Pediatric Cardiology | Heart Failure/Heart Transplant Physician
Job Description
The UofL School of Medicine and clinical partner, Norton Children’s Medical Group, have an opportunity available to join their established group. Our specialized team of providers consists of board-certified pediatric cardiologists, advanced practice providers and support staff. Our cardiologists have expertise in pediatric cardiology, heart failure and transplantation, adult congenital heart disease (ACHD), adult congenital and pediatric interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, fetal cardiology, telemedicine and electrophysiology. Advanced training in pediatric heart failure and heart transplant required. Well-established team caring for complex pediatric heart failure and transplant patients in inpatient and outpatient facilities Dedicated team of two heart failure and heart transplant cardiologists, two dedicated nurse practitioners, two transplant coordinators, a psychologist and a licensed clinical social worker Norton Children’s Heart Institute offers full-service congenital heart disease care, including complex neonatal surgery; pediatric ventricular assist device; and heart transplant, catheterization and electrophysiology procedures Institute participates in numerous national registries and collaboratives, including the Pediatric Heart Transplant Society and Advanced Cardiac Therapies Improving Outcomes Network (ACTION) Academic position in the Department of Pediatrics at the UofL School of Medicine Research opportunities and support available through Norton Children’s Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine
