Pharmaworks, a Pro Mach Company is looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Technician to join its team. The Facilities & Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and functional workplace environment through daily monitoring, maintenance, repairs, and coordination of facility-related activities. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, executing facility projects, managing preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting company logistics and general operations as needed.
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will…
- Perform daily inspections of the facility to identify cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues; communicate findings to Supervisor.
- Collaborate with Production Managers and other departments to maintain facility standards.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects across mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, such as HVAC filter changes and equipment upkeep.
- Operate as a driver/courier for business-related transportation.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, identifying root causes of issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
- Monitor company grounds and support general facility security.
- Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance parts and tools; facilitate purchasing when needed.
- Assist in relocating machines and equipment within the facility.
- Following and enforcing safety within the buildings.
- Provide support in other departments or tasks as needed, aligned with skills and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a plant maintenance or custodial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and team skills.
- Ability to operate forklift trucks and company vans; valid driver’s license required.
- Physically capable of lifting weights up to 56 lbs.
- Flexible, dependable, and able to work overtime when needed.
- Solid understanding of plant systems including electrical, HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, security, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems.
- Experience with machine shop equipment is a plus.
