Tools & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:
1. Ear plugs
2. Safety glasses
3. Lock-out/tag-out
4. Cut resistant gloves
5. Dust mask
6. Safety vest
7. Sharpie
8. Utility knife
Machine Parts and Descriptions:
•CONVEYOR BELT:
o The conveyer belt will carry product from one position to another.
•ACCUMULATION/DOFF BELT:
o The Doff Belt accumulates the Packages on frames until desired count is
achieved and then releases them when start button is pressed by operator
•MANUAL LINE:
o The Manual line will start when the Operator puts the completed Pallet on the line
and presses the start button, or enters it in to the computer and manually starts it.
•TURN TABLE:
o The turn table receives the pallets and turns them to go the desired direction on
the line. The Pallet then travels across the rollers that are chain driven to its
destination.
•ORION WRAPPER:
o The wrapper wraps completed pallet on turn table. The wrapper arm goes up to
the top of the pallet, when it sees that it has made its complete cycle, it comes
back down and clamps. The Heater moves out to break the wrapping film as the
pallet starts to move out.
•DATAMAX TECHNOLOGY LABELER:
o The Labeler label's Pallets or Boxes using compressed air. Small Motor feeds the
label out, compressed air blows label on pad. Suction holds the label until the
cylinder moves out and makes contact with the pallet.
