Laminator Operator
Sheridan MN is seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Laminator Operator to join our dynamic team at our Brainerd, MN facility. In this vital role, you will be a key player on our 1st shift being responsible for the set up and operation of laminating equipment. Duties/Responsibilities:
Set up and run the Laminator and or UV Coater according to the job specifications along with all safety, quality, productivity, and other bindery processes. Monitor quality of product throughout job according to established procedures. Maintain an acceptable level of production based upon job requirements. Maintain equipment and repair/service as needed. Complete all applicable paperwork. Demonstrate good housekeeping attitudes and practices. Perform preventative maintenance measures as assigned. Perform general worker duties when not assigned to set-up or run equipment. Safety - Complies with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Monitors for safety hazards and reports any safety-related concerns. Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc.). Must have basic computer skills to work with Windows type applications. Must have a mechanical inclination and be able to do basic troubleshooting when a piece of equipment is not functioning. Must work cooperatively with others and have solid communication skills. Desired Skills and Abilities:
Two years+ in trade on similar equipment. Graphic arts and/or technical school background beneficial. Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals Hearing protection and safety toe shoes required. Prolonged periods of standing
