Produce machined parts by independently setting up proven and unproven programs on computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Load, run and inspect parts while monitoring and adjusting process, machine, and tool conditions. Actively engage in an employee-oriented team-based company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance to create a reject free facility. Follow all safety rules to ensure product safety, individual safety and the safety of others.
Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM OR 3 PM -12 AM Pay: TBD
Responsibilities:
- Secure workholding devices to machines with various configurations
- Assemble and measure cutting tools
- Verify unproven G-code programs without cutting production parts-Dry run
- Verify unproven G-code programs will produce parts to specification
- Load parts in workholding devices for operation
- Read customer drawings to monitor and maintain part specifications during production
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces
- Measure as many dimensions/features as possible before pulling the part from the fixturing/machine
- Deburr part features to specification
- Select and use appropriate Measuring and Test Equipment to measure part feature in an accurate, repeatable, and reproducible manner and record measurements
- Perform daily machine maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance
- Adhere to all Quality Management System documents
- Complete other tasks and projects as assigned
- Thoroughly clean your work area and machine by the end of your shift every day
Physical Demands:
- Stand, bend, walk, and use hands to feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Work environment will expose employee to the following elements: noise, heat, cold, dust, lubricants, solvents
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven proficiency of all CNC Machine Operator I responsibilities
- Basic math skills
- Effectively communicate and follow instructions
- Proven record of quality work and attention to detail
- Capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per week
