This position involves the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Working under close supervision, you will perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. You will ensure that job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date, and communicate effectively with all levels of manufacturing management. A positive attitude is essential when interacting with both internal and external customers. You will follow safety guidelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality metrics. Responsibilities
Perform routine assignments according to specified procedures. Ensure job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date. Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions effectively in both written and oral forms. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers. Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. Maintain accurate records to ensure quality documentation is up to date. Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing. Participate in setting and monitoring individual goals and performance metrics. Support divisional initiatives and comply with regulatory requirements. Essential Skills
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures. Understanding and following verbal instructions. Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software. Prioritize work based on precedence and importance. Handle and maneuver small components and parts. Make critical decisions with minimal supervision. High school degree or equivalent preferred. Dexterity and flexibility in tasks. Punctuality and willingness to learn. Ability to use a microscope. Good hand dexterity. Capability to communicate in English for audit purposes. The work environment is a production line that requires wearing safety glasses and ESD shoes. While it is not a clean room environment, it is essential to adhere to strict clothing guidelines to ensure safety and quality standards. Weekly overtime may be required, and flexibility in tasks is necessary. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
