Machine Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift - Mills River
Machine Operator
for
1st and 2nd Shift
for a manufacturing company located in
Mills River . Position Responsibilities: Sets up and operates fabrication machines, such as brake and punch presses. Creates and assembles metal work pieces. Follows specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints. Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred. Knowledge of standard and metric measurements. Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
