Overview
The General Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility remain in optimal condition. This position involves preventive maintenance, acute maintenance, adjustments, and participation in validation and replacements. Candidates will oversee various areas including the Building, Warehouse, Extrusion, Packaging, and Dip Line. Responsibilities
Follow the maintenance schedule for adjustment, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of all equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility. Perform preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility. Conduct acute maintenance or replacement of parts on equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility as needed. Support operators, process technicians, and leadership when problems occur with the equipment, machinery, installations, and facility. Adhere to lock out/tag out and all applicable safety procedures when working on machines, equipment, installations, or the facility. Use all required safety gear when working on machines, equipment, installations, or the facility. Overview machinery during manufacturing and support machinery if components or products get stuck. Replace parts of the machinery as needed. Review and study the machinery to secure improvements. Conduct preventive maintenance on allocated machinery or as required. Independently maintain areas of manufacturing as assigned. Support Tech II and III in more complicated/intensive tasks. Receive training and support from Tech II and Tech III. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Tech I requires a degree or certification in a related field and/or 2 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility. Tech II requires a degree in a related field and/or 5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility. Tech III requires a degree in a related field and/or 7 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility. Lead Maintenance requires experience in a maintenance leadership position and/or 7 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility. Why Work Here?

The role is based 100% on the manufacturing floor in the plastics mold and extrusion division, alongside a team of technicians and engineers. The environment is clean, requiring gowning up before entering and adherence to FDA guidelines. The facility includes multiple divisions and product lines, with 16 injection molding and extrusion machines. Shifts are available with training on the 1st shift before transitioning to an off shift, with premiums available for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
