Starting Wage: $42,611.20 - $63,916.79
Gaming Class: Non-Compact/Non-Gaming

Position Summary:
The Resort Sales Coordinator shall work under the general supervision of the Director of Sales and Public Relations and is responsible for coordinating and entering all pertinent information for groups as assigned by the Director of Sales. The incumbent is also responsible for welcoming groups as needed and working closely with the Director of Sales and Public Relations and the Banquet Manager to finalize details for events held at Fortune Bay Resort Casino.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
The Resort Sales Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:
- Work with clients from the point of initial contact through billing and closing out of payment. This includes the creation of hotel blocks, maintaining regular communication with clients, completing Banquet Events Orders, providing property showings, and arranging for and attending food tastings.
- Coordinate group business for Fortune Bay Resort Casino to include but limited to Weddings, social groups, bus groups, and "Stay and Play" at the Wilderness Golf Course.
- Attend and work at occasional trade shows and wedding shows to help boost business for Fortune Bay.
- Expand our clientele by making cold calls and meeting with potential new groups.
- Continue to foster and develop working relationships with repeat business that we strive to retain.
- Work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all food and beverage needs are met.
- Respond to client complaints and provide after-sales support as needed.
- Assist with data entry for group business for Fortune Bay Resort Casino.
- Enter rooming lists, manage cutoff dates, and room management in Agilysys and V1.
- Write proposal letters or emails and follow through with a contractual agreement in bringing groups to Fortune Bay.
- Maintain an efficient communication system to ensure client inquiries are promptly answered.
- Provide monthly sales reports to include client feedback and financials.
- Greet clients at arrival and then hand off to banquet staff to make sure your clients' needs are taken care of to ensure the event goes off as planned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business office setting involving customer services.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel.
- Two-year degree in sales, business or a related field.
- Resort Sales experience.
