n Reporting to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

nJob Purpose:
n
nResponsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of all new products through active management of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
n
nKey Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and track new product introduction projects, accurately predicting timelines, budgets and managing project risks.
nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a robust capacity planning method for the NPI process, enhancing lead-time accuracy and identifying potential bottlenecks.
nProactive resolution of project delays by working with multiple departments to ensure minimal impact to the project timeline.
nContinually exploring opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the process.
nEstablish a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within NPI process.
nWorking with the business to plan future requirements based on forecasted demand and analysis.

nKnowledge Skills and Experiences
n
nKnowledge
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing, and business processes would be beneficial.
nStrong understanding of project management techniques and tools.
nFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies
nKnowledge of engineering design and manufacturing best practice would be advantageous.
nExperience in a new product introduction process would be useful.
n
nSkills
Ability to lead a project from initiation through to delivery by engaging with cross-functional teams.
nGood communicator with both written and verbal skills. Confident and capable of leading and presenting in project meetings.
nAble to develop strong effective relationships with our people.
nAbility to use CAD software, preferably SolidWorks would be beneficial.
nSkilled in using project management tools, including Gantt charts to track and report project progress.
nStrong problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Daily and monthly monitoring and report of NPI process.
nDaily and monthly review of NPI Process Tool and reports.

nEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, preferably with a focus on mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
nProven experience or a project management based qualification would also be considered.
