Idaho Today Visual Producer
Responsibilities:
Passion for capturing video & audio elements that produce compelling and engaging promotional marketing features and life-style stories for sales-oriented show. Use creative production techniques such as graphic design, editing and new forms of media to enhance stories. Assigned multiple projects at a time, each with different deadlines. Work in coordination with Executive Producer, Sales Strategist and sales teams on projects to drive client results. Shoot content in studio and in field. Edit advertising and editorial packages, specials and lives shows. Creative in-studio production, assisting Executive Producer in innovating camera angles, graphics, lighting to improve show appearance. Attend all team/show/client meetings. Lead daily execution with top tiered customer service for clients, AE’s and show team. Operate an ENG truck or IP video-based live unit (TVU) when assigned. Preferred Drone piolet license or willingness to attain one. Assist with news photography as assigned.
Requirements:
BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience. 1-3 years of experience preferred in broadcast and/or marketing environment.(marketing preferred). Experience in photojournalism/marketing, editing, content management systems. Exceptional organization skills and focus on deadlines. Must have strong customer service, be reliable and dependable. Works well within a team. Proven ability to generate creative, engaging, content-driven stories, promos and/or marketing campaigns. Demonstrated strong writing skills, photography experience, and non-linear editing skills. Knowledge of EDIUS, or any Non-Linear base editing system preferred. Ability to work well in a team and also lead when needed. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs. with or without an accommodation Current driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles to and from various locations

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
