As a Director, Audience Engagement for our Live Business Unit, you will be an integral member of the audience engagement team responsible for registrations, engagement metrics, and growth for live in-person attendees. You will orchestrate, optimize, and oversee marketing strategies to achieve goals for live programs, with a focus on the oncology space. The ideal candidate will bring strong event experience, project management, data management, analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. You must meet deadlines proactively, be detail-oriented, and capable of forming effective working relationships across teams. You should think creatively to solve complex tasks and manage your time effectively during busy sales cycles. Responsibilities : Create and execute omni-channel marketing strategies to drive traffic and engage healthcare professionals for live events. Implement and monitor marketing campaigns to meet attendee, registration, and revenue goals. Develop growth strategies in the oncology space, identify partner opportunities, and support brand elevation. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to create audience plans, forecasts, and client solutions. Utilize Salesforce / Exact Target to manage and optimize campaign performance. Collaborate with product management to track program performance related to registration and traffic. Partner with Data Analytics to analyze user behavior and inform marketing strategies. Coordinate marketing tactics with various teams, including timelines, email, social media, and performance tracking. Provide reporting and analysis to support business decisions, including response trends and platform tracking. Requirements : 10+ years of events marketing experience in multi-channel marketing. BA / BS in marketing preferred. Knowledge of CME landscape and direct-to-physician marketing. Strong in-person marketing strategy and campaign management skills. Experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Omniture. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong organizational, operational, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to communicate data-driven insights across departments. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Tableau, Marketing Automation tools, PowerPoint, and basic HTML. Compensation and Benefits :
Salary range of $120,000-$130,000, with eligibility for discretionary bonus based on business results. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, life and disability insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and transit benefits. Eligibility varies based on employment specifics.
