As a Marlin Bar Culinary Team Member, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding culinary experiences while upholding our core values. If you are passionate about food and enjoy engaging with guests, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a Relaxed Destination: Embody and promote the Tommy Bahama culture. Actively engage with guests and share your knowledge about our food and beverage offerings.
- Set the Course: Participate in location meetings and training sessions, applying learned skills on the job. Support your teammates in food service tasks, including ingredient preparation and presentation.
- Build the Perfect Oasis: Master the execution of our menus and recipes, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Embrace feedback and coaching to enhance your skills.
- Be prepared to assist with various tasks as needed to support the business.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 1 year of culinary or hospitality experience preferred.
- Current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by local laws.
- Comfortable engaging with guests about food and beverage options.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Occasional climbing of ladders.
- Routine standing for up to 8 hours during shifts.
- Possible travel for training at other locations.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
