The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and compliant shipping and receiving workflow within the pharmacy. This position works in direct coordination with internal pharmacy staff and external courier services (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight). The Coordinator supports production operations by ensuring timely movement of goods, clearing staging areas, and reporting any issues that may affect workflow. This position reports to the Workflow Manager. Schedule Details
On-Site, Orange, CA. 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 7:30am-4:00pm Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Serve as the primary point of contact for pickup courier services and delivery issues (FedEx, UPS, freight carriers, etc.). Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify quantities and condition of goods. Audit and confirm all packages have been cleared from the shipping/receiving area before courier arrival. Accurately log shipping and receiving data into internal systems and track discrepanciesMaintain shipping logs, Bill of Ladings (BOLs), and proof-of-delivery records for audit readiness. Monitor levels of shipping and receiving supplies (ice packs, insulated kits, boxes, labels, etc.) and coordinate timely restocking. Route incoming supplies or materials to appropriate departments for use or storage. Required Qualifications
Frequently lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs with or without assistance. Must possess a valid California drivers license Must have a clean driving record Must pass a motor vehicle record check Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally Familiarity with shipping systems (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, etc.) Strong organizational and communication skills Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, email, inventory software) Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse coordination role Preferred Qualifications
