Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
to join the Acute Care Float Pool team. This role is ideal for CNAs with pediatric experience and strong adaptability in high-paced healthcare environments. You will work across various acute care units, delivering essential hands-on patient support and assisting with daily care routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under nursing supervision
Assist with daily living activities: bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulation
Monitor and report patient conditions and vital signs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
Ensure patient comfort and safety in compliance with care standards
Support pediatric patients and families with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification
in the State of New York
Current CPR certification
(or ability to obtain prior to start)
Minimum 1 year of hands-on patient care experience
Experience in a
Level 1 Trauma Center
is a plus
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Must pass a
pre-employment health clearance
