Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Research Proctor well-versed in XR (Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality) technologies to execute and oversee data collection sessions following our precise scientific protocols. You'll be responsible for setting up equipment, ensuring quality data collection, and maintaining strict confidentiality and safety standards. The role involves interaction with participants, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the XR devices.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data collection sessions using XR technology, following specific protocols.
• Ensure high-quality data collection and perform secure data uploads.
• Prepare and manage collection equipment and environments for sessions.
• Address hardware/software issues, protocol questions, and participant concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance guidelines, and maintain data confidentiality.
• This role involves working in a variety of settings, including labs, office meeting rooms, and remote locations, with necessary travel between locations.
  

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency with VR/AR devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in guiding novice users of XR technology.
• Prior experience in technology-driven data collection, especially involving Extended Reality (VR/AR) technologies, is preferred.
