Job Title: MS Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA or Brentwood, TN
Type: Contract
**ONSITE**
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant
with a strong background in
accounting
and
financial systems . The ideal candidate will have a
degree in accounting , and/or be a
CPA
or
Chartered Accountant (CA) , and will play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions across financial processes. Your role will bridge the gap between finance operations and technology, ensuring systems meet business and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with finance and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional Dynamics 365 F&O solutions. Lead and support the implementation of core financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash & Bank Management. Conduct fit-gap analyses and design workshops with stakeholders. Configure and customize D365 F&O financial modules to align with business needs. ssist in data migration, system testing, and end-user training. Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement of the finance systems. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are implemented correctly. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls. Support integration with third-party financial tools and external systems. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX 2012). Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting financial modules in D365 F&O. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. bility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) or local GAAP. CPA or CA certification (or in progress). Previous involvement in full-cycle ERP implementations. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, or Azure DevOps. Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications.
