Title: Emerging Growth/Venture Capital Associate
Location: Hybrid - San Diego, CA
Key Notes/Company Details:
Headquartered in both Chicago, IL and London, England.

Work with a reputable global firm known for its excellence in professional services.
Responsibilities:
Represent emerging growth companies and institutional investors in venture capital financings.
Advise on M&A transactions and provide corporate guidance to emerging growth companies on day-to-day matters.
Draft and negotiate various corporate documents, including investment agreements, term sheets, and corporate governance documents.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to manage transactions and deliver effective solutions.
Requirements:
Licensed to practice in California.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in venture capital, emerging growth companies, and M&A transactions.
Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and business judgment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proven problem-solving abilities, conceptual thinking, and the ability to influence others.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
Deliver high-quality, timely work products while meeting deadlines.
Maintain positive working relationships and ensure compliance with all firm policies and practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing demands in a dynamic environment.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school.
