Natural Gas, Electrical, and other Industrial Facilities Position Overview: Seeking an experienced
Civil Engineer
to support the design and development of civil and structural infrastructure for industrial facilities. This role involves leading physical layout planning, civil engineering analysis, and the detailed design of site developments related to natural gas and electrical installations. The ideal candidate is a technically strong engineer with hands-on design experience who can work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed civil engineering analyses and coordinate the development of design packages. Prepare and review design calculations, construction drawings, technical reports, specifications, and contracts. Define and implement civil design requirements and standards for each project. Coordinate scope, schedule, and budget with project teams and external stakeholders. Conduct and participate in design review meetings throughout project lifecycle. Ensure all designs meet applicable industry codes and regulatory standards. Support structural engineering components as needed in addition to civil site work. Contribute to the development of construction material specifications and design standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Minimum of
6 years of experience
in civil design engineering. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
preferred . Proficient in civil site development and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis. Strong written communication skills, including technical report writing. Capable of working independently and in collaborative team environments. Familiarity with engineering software such as
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MathCAD, Excel, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS
is preferred. Preferred Experience: Previous experience with natural gas or electrical facility design is preferred but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in other industrial facilities will be considered. Structural engineering/design experience is a plus. Design drafting will be supported by drafters and designers, but a strong technical foundation in engineering design is essential. Salary range:
