The role involves solving complex engineering problems, owning code from design to development, and contributing to the development of scalable systems that meet customer needs. Responsibilities: • Own code end-to-end from design to development • Work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS • Developing the next generation contact center • Design and deliver scalable, resilient systems • Maintaining a constant customer focus Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience • Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred: • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Company: Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began exposing key infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services -- now widely known as cloud computing.
