Job Description Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: Experience performing routine CT and CTA exams Experience with GE x-ray units and CT scanners
Description: Imaging rooms include CT, Trauma x-ray, Fluoroscopy, and Portable units. The radiology department consists of 22 staff members. Staff includes multi-modality technologists for day, night, and weekend shifts. Equipment utilized is all GE for digital radiology. Electronic medical records and PACS systems are Cerner/PowerChart and Phillips Intellispace. All types of CT procedures are performed, excluding cardiac. CT guided biopsies are conducted. A full range of trauma radiology, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm cases are managed. The ideal candidate is friendly, considerate, and a team player. The ability to work independently is also essential. Compassion and consideration for patients and co-workers are important traits.
