Job Description:
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is looking for a
Senior Modeling & Simulations Engineer / Analyst
with solid experience in developing multi-fidelity closed-loop simulation capabilities for weapons, sensors, communications, directed energy, or Cyber systems, including electronic attack / electronic protection. The candidate will work with a multi-location team primarily developing AFSIM models for integration into kill web simulations and producing analytical products on technology performance impacts.
Essential job functions include:
Provide Modeling and Simulation Analysis for strategic mission communications, satellite, and radio navigation signal generation. Model weapon system performance in real-world environments, analyzing sensors, weapon platforms, C4, and decision processes. Develop representations of Missile Defense System architecture elements. Execute mission-level modeling using AFSIM. Develop and evaluate advanced technologies across multiple domains and mission areas. Integrate other system simulation tools to analyze mission communication technologies in AFSIM. Deliver metrics-based products, presentations, and visualizations. Support special studies, including experimental efforts, data integration, and software development for communication technologies. Provide excellent customer support and communicate effectively with leadership and customers. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience. Experience with classified and special access programs. Experience with modern architecture frameworks and systems engineering. Proven ability in R&D, technology maturation, analysis, testing, and systems engineering. Motivated, responsible, and capable of managing projects independently. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work effectively in complex, deadline-driven environments. Ability to build relationships and leverage information across groups. Leadership, organizational, negotiation skills, and self-motivation. Desired Skills and Experience:
MS or PhD preferred. 8+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in C++, Python, Matlab, C. Experience in Windows and Linux environments. Experience integrating models from different coding languages. Knowledge of hypersonic concepts and strategic missions. Familiarity with Electronic Warfare, ISR, TST, JADC2, and Missile Defense. Required Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI. US Citizenship required.
Travel:
25% within the US.
