Seeking an experienced
Cath Lab Tech
to assist in Interventional Radiology, Neuro, and Trauma procedures. This role involves performing specialized imaging procedures, assisting providers during diagnostic and interventional cases, and ensuring patient safety throughout. Responsibilities: Assist with trauma, IR, neurovascular, and cardiac catheterization procedures. Accurately position patients and select proper anatomical and technical parameters. Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice. Monitor and observe patient response during procedures; report any abnormalities. Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols and hospital standards. Assist Radiologists/PAs in complex vascular, non-vascular, and therapeutic procedures. Ensure equipment readiness and adherence to procedural protocols. Participate in call rotation (must respond within 30 minutes during call shifts). Requirements: Experience: Required 4 years of job-specific experience and Preferred experience in multiple modalities: Trauma, IR, Neuro, Cardiovascular, and Vascular. Certifications (Required): BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – within 30 days of hire Radiologic Technologist license – Texas Medical Board One or more of the following credentials: RCIS (CCI) Cardiographic Tech – Electrophysiology (CCI) ARRT – Radiography, VI, CI, or CV Certifications (Preferred): ACLS – AHA or Red Cross & PALS – AHA or Red Cross Education: High school diploma with 2 years relevant experience OR Associate’s/Technical degree OR
