Job Summary and Qualifications include performing procedures in multiple modalities, which may include MRI, CT and Diagnostic X-ray, performing complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities, working knowledge of the equipment used and operating equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner, and knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applying ALARA concepts to every patient, every time. What qualifications you will need include graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate, and advanced certification in CT or MR (preferred). Certification in MRI/CT required at hire or obtained within 6 months of employment date or end of cross training period. A minimum of one year of X-Ray and advanced modality experience is preferred.
