Looking for physician to take over busy and established hospital employed Occupational Medicine Clinic.
This position will be located in our brand new facility scheduled to open shortly. The facility will also include Urgent Care and Family Practice.
COMPENSATION:
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. Salary Range: Option #1: Base salary of $206,800 (for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience with a guaranteed salary for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target. Option #2: Base salary of $268,300 (75%tile) guaranteed for one year and then switched to production contract. Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days CME/Books & Journals: 1 week and up to $5000 reimbursement 2 year contract also includes (renewal contracts will be wRVU production based): Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $17,500 year before taxes. No matching. Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $17,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $24,000 for over age 50. Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay. Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate. 10% of tail is covered for each year of service at Medical Center. Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck Non-compete: 70 mile and 2 year liquidated damages/non-compete clause Additional contracts / options: Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment) Community emergency response plan (CERP) - pay for call - explained by CFO Sign on Bonus - $50,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2 years) Additional contracts / options: Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment) Clinic Info " Approx. 20 patients per day " Staffing - 5 LPN'S, 1 Medical Office Technician, Receptionist, Office Manager, 1 NP, 1 PA " Program is approximately 20 years old " Hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Mon - Thurs, 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m., Fri " 4 weeks vacation, 1 weeks CME " Hospital Employment, Salary and benefits discussed with candidate " Board Certified in Occupational Medicine with MRO certification Practice Information: " Would you prefer the candidate to have any special areas of interest? Would like someone who has worked in an Urgent Care setting since there are so many workers comp. patients, civil surgeon, DOT Registry to perform CDL physicals " What procedures are done in the office? Physicals " What equipment do you have in the office? Hearing booth, stent testing, spirometry " How soon would you like to fill the position? Asap " What is the call schedule and with whom do you share call? N/A " Would like someone with experience in workers comp/physicals/dept. of transportation " Possibility of some travel to off site locations Duties " Would see workers comp. follow up and initial patients referred by Urgent Care and ED. " Pre-Employ, Bus Driver, DOT CDL physicals and RTW physicals " Rescreens for plant return to work " BWC work in off site locations " Oversee NP and PA 200+ Bed Hospital. It is a family-oriented community with a service area of 120,000. Located along the Ohio River, city offers services to southern Ohio and northern Kentucky. There are many cultural and recreational amenities: a local orchestra, museum, theaters, water sports, several challenging golf courses, and other outdoor activities. The city is with within 100 miles of Columbus and Cincinnati, with easy access to major metropolitan areas in the tri-state region.
