The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. UNL anchors the campaign, with a goal of $1.5 billion from enthusiastic donors. Ways you will make an impact: Work with leadership in overseeing the business intelligence framework, providing the blueprint for turning data into a strategic asset. Collaborate with team members to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery as it relates to business intelligence/data warehouse. Effectively advise teams on best practices and future state. Develop standards, tools, and reports in a variety of user-friendly formats to monitor and assess activity and results. Coach, coordinate, and represent our team in projects, meetings and discussions. Design, implement, maintain, and enhance timely and accurate data warehouse tables, views, and stored procedures. Motivated individuals who can think creatively with solutions or visualizations of data. What you need: Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Minimum Experience : 10+ years’ experience in a Business Intelligence analyst or development role. Proficiency in SQL and database management. Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL processes. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Preferred experience: 3+ years’ experience in a leadership/coaching role. Strong oral and written communication skills. Discretion in handling confidential matters. Strong problem solving and customer service skills Ability to build relationships and work with technical and business stakeholders Ability to think strategically and collaborate with others Ability to continuously look forward at the “big picture” Ability to create compelling data visualizations and translate complex data into actionable insights.
