Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Software Developer within our team NYS Information Technology Services. This is a 24 month contract, hybrid (up to 50%) in Albany, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating under the direction of ITS staff.
1. Development and support of various applications on a low-code platform. 2. Leverage the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) for all activities. 3. System analysis and design 4. Analysis of existing processes and documentation of business rules 5. Creation of functional specifications 6. Analyze requirements, create design documentation, specifications, and test plan documentation 7. Assist in the coordination of application migrations. 8. Assist with system integration, load, and performance test planning and validation efforts
Qualifications:
84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Preferred Qualifications:
84 months of experience in frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar). 84 months of experience integrating applications with other systems using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies. 84 months of experience in .NET development, including proficiency in C# and the .NET framework 84 months of experience using various SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) and experience applying them in software development projects. 84 months of experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS), including advanced SQL skills. 84 months of experience in systems analysis, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and system design. 84 months of experience with UI/UX design and development, with a focus on principles and best practices, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly range is $ 50 .00 - $ 55 .00.
