Tier 1 NOC Technicians
to join our dynamic Network Operations Center team in
Frisco, TX . This is a critical entry to mid-level role responsible for monitoring, identifying, and troubleshooting network issues in real time to ensure optimal performance of ExteNets nationwide infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Monitor network performance and alarms using NMS tools and dashboards. Respond to alerts and events; perform initial triage and escalate issues per SOPs. Log and track all incidents, events, and service requests in the ITSM platform (preferably
ServiceNow ). Perform basic troubleshooting of wireless, DAS, small cell, and fiber networks. Collaborate with Tier 2/3 teams, field technicians, and vendors to restore services. Document all actions taken and ensure clear communication during incident management. Provide status updates to internal stakeholders and support teams as needed. Participate in a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required. Preferred Skills & Experience: 12 years of experience in a NOC, help desk, or technical support environment. Working knowledge of IP networking, LTE/5G wireless systems, or fiber infrastructure. Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools ServiceNow
experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Education & Certifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent work experience). CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or other networking certifications are a plus.
