Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improve operations through systems analysis and recommending policy and procedure changes. Obtain and license software by gathering required information from vendors, recommending purchases, testing, and approving products. Update job knowledge by studying the latest development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. Participate in educational opportunities and read professional publications. Protect operations by maintaining confidentiality of information. Gather, analyze, and summarize development and service issues to provide relevant information. Complete related results as needed to accomplish engineering and organizational missions. Develop software solutions by studying information needs, consulting with users, analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problems, and following the software development lifecycle. Skill Sets We Require
Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Developer. Experience designing interactive applications. Proficiency in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages. Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). Experience with web frameworks like JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC. Experience with test-driven development. Proficiency with software engineering tools. Ability to document requirements and specifications. Experience & Pedigree
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Seniority level
